With good planning, visiting Big Bend National Park – in summer even – can be done. Couple that with the fact that it’s hot for many of the months of the year and you might be hesitant to visit Big Bend. In a remote desert with rivers, mountains, canyons and wildlife, visiting Big Bend National Park might seem a bit overwhelming just because of its location.
